Medical Service Plan (MSP)
As of April 1, 2008, BC residents who have a combined family income of less than $28,000 are eligible to receive supplementary benefits of $23 per visit for 10 visits to receive acupuncture, physical therapy, massage therapy, chiropractic, etc. for a specific diagnosed condition. Patients are only covered for visits with practitioners who are registered by the College of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncturists of British Columbia. For more information please refer to:

Insurance Corporation of British Columbia and Worker's Compensation Board (ICBC)/(WCB)
ICBC and WCB claims may accept acupuncture therapy if the patient has a doctor's referral and prior permission from the ICBC or WCB adjuster. For more information please refer to:
