IMEG Health® Evidence Based Drug Herb Interaction Project

As more and more research is being done, there is a wealth of research-based evidence that is produced but not available to medical professionals. While clinicians often seek evidence to support clinical decisions made on a daily basis, there are obstacles. Medical professionals not only struggle with the availability of information, but also the allocation of time for researching and filtering through information that is not relevant for them. Lastly there is also the concern for reliability and credibility of these resources.

In this project our goal is to create a system to manage this evidence-based information with the following objectives:

  • Reliable source for our users
  • Relevant to clinician to make clinical decisions based on evidence.
  • Readily Available
  • Readable: quick, easy to read, easy to search
  • Reference available for further research and credibility

We at IMEG Health®, aim to be a credible source for medical professional to refer to for the reliable and relevant information that they seek. While our system is still in development, we have successfully compiled information on 40 herbs in the form of monograms. While we are working hard to accomplish more we appreciate your patience and support. We also welcome any comments or feedback that you may have.
